12 Years of Helping Hand: Our Journey So Far

Twelve years is a long time to keep a promise. Long enough to see children we sponsored grow into doctors. Long enough to see borewells outlive the people who blessed them. Long enough to learn that real change is not loud — it is steady.

We started in 2013 with a small team, a smaller balance sheet, and an oversized intention. The first project was a borewell. The second was a school bag drive. The third was a paediatric equipment donation that would later become a long partnership with MGM Hospital. We didn't write a five-year plan. We listened to villages and answered them, one need at a time.

By 2015 we were building community halls. By 2018 we had a TB support programme. By 2020 we were running food trucks during the COVID lockdowns. We made plenty of mistakes, but the community kept telling us where they were and we kept correcting them. The trust grew because the people we served raised their voices.

In 2022 we celebrated ten years quietly — no banners, no felicitations. We chose instead to dig three borewells that week. In 2023 we crossed forty villages with running water. In 2025 we received an appreciation certificate from the Government of Telangana on Independence Day. That recognition does not belong to us. It belongs to every villager who allowed us through their gate.

We are not done. We are not even close. The next twelve years are going to be louder, deeper, and more ambitious than the last. The dream is simple: a Telangana where no village is forgotten, where no child is hungry, where no borewell is dry.

Move with us. Every story here started with a donation.
